Welcome to my Charlotte blog! 14 Years ago I came to
Charlotte, coming from the NYC area with a wife and four young children. I grew up in just outside of Washington DC in suburban Maryland. Charlotte reminds me of the DC area, 30 years ago.
I came to raise a family, whatever your reason for coming, I hope this site helps answer questions about Charlotte, and helps you and others to get to know more about the area and appreciate the abundance of good things going on in Charlotte.

- I grew up in the Washington DC area and came (by way of NYC) to Charlotte, NC in 1993 with my wife and 4 children. We moved to Matthews in 1999 to change high school districts- 0ur kids attended private and public schools, 3 graduating from Providence HS (and in college) and the last will graduate from Butler HS.
